Recovery Coaching

Atlantic Canada Recovery Coaching

When we enter into recovery, or have the intention to begin changing our lives, we start into an immense challenge. Our behaviour and our actions for the past several months or years have developed deeply engrained habits that will take a lot of work to break. “You can’t walk 10 miles into the woods, and expect to walk 2 miles out”, goes the saying, and that rings especially true for us in recovery.

Conscious, consistent work is required to move forward into a greater quality of life. For some, it is easier than others, but the process remains the same. We must change our default habit of turning to behaviours or substances to soothe our pain, one decision at a time.

Our counselling service gets to the core of why we need the behaviour or substance of choice, and is a vital part of healing, but more often than not our recovery requires additional daily work. One session per week can help us uncover the past to build a better future, but it is ultimately the sum of our daily efforts that shape our lives.

With this being said, Black & Gray Addiction Support is now offering a three-tiered Recovery Coaching program for clients who require additional contact and support. Each tier represents a different intensity of service, costed per month. We feel that one of our services below will provide the best chance of a healthy, long-term recovery for you.
